Dear Sloss,
I enclose a letter received from Henton, referring to and bringing up to date the views on the University expressed by him in the 1941 lecture of which he encloses a copy.
It is quite likely that, remembering my invitation to interested members to send in a not fee of their views, so as to make it easier to do without long minutes of meetings, Hinton has had in mind the circulation of his letter; and I see no objection to that. Do you?
It is a little difficult to circulate it without the relevant parts of the lecture to which the letter refers. Do you think it is worth circulating the passages marked between arrows on page 262 and on pages 262 to 264 respectively?
If you think we should circulate extracts from the lecture and, secondly, from his letter, perhaps you could save time by returning these documents to Miss Ruston, with this letter of mine to you, asking her to have the various extracts duplicated. If your advice is against that perhaps you would return to me and I will send the lecture up to him.
Yours sincerely,
Силистр
D.J. SLOSS, ESQ.
